CHAD OCHO CINCO VH1 REALITY SHOW "THE TOURNAMENT" WILL PREMIERE IN JULY

Chad is doing as much as possible during off-season. Right now he is doing DTWS but after that he will be recording his new VH1 reality show looking for love. Right now they are still casting for the show. I saw some of the girls in Miami trying out and if they pick a few I saw the show will be very interesting.

This show is set to premiere in July! I know we are in reality hell right now but these shows are so cheap to make. The girls make as much as $150 a show..some do it for free and do as much as they can for publicity in hopes to going into acting.

Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver Chad Ocho Cinco (formerly Chad Johnson) is using his off-season to pursue happiness off the field in his new VH1 reality show “The Tournament” (working title). The series is a mix of Ocho Cinco’s on-field charisma blended with the drama of the dating pool played out in a bracket-style dating tournament. The 10 episode, one-hour series is set to premiere in July 2010.

One of the NFL’s brightest stars, 32-year-old Ocho Cinco has been selected to the Pro Bowl six times and named an All-Pro three times. He legally changed his surname from Johnson to Ocho Cinco prior to the 2008 regular season to reflect the number 85 on his Bengals uniform. In the 2009 season, Ocho Cinco caught 72 passes for 1,047 yards and nine touchdowns. An avid user of social networks, Ocho Cinco has close to one million followers on Twitter and hundreds of thousands of fans on Facebook.

“The Tournament” will start with Ocho Cinco finding his “first 85″ by traveling all over the country meeting women that may be interested in dating him. Then, during the first episode, he will narrow the playing field down to the sweet sixteen – four women from each of the four regions of the country – Northern, Western, Southern and Central Divisions. The sixteen chosen women will be invited to join Ocho Cinco for the rest of the tournament-style dating competition.

Once the competition begins, Ocho Cinco will follow a tournament bracket where each of the ladies will have an opportunity to spend quality time with him while also facing off against one another in double-dates. The winner of each dating face-off will receive a game ball from Ocho Cinco and move on to the next round of the tournament, while the loser goes home. Ultimately the sweet sixteen will be narrowed down to eight and then the final four. In the end, the championship date between the two remaining women will result in Ocho Cinco awarding his chosen love the coveted Championship Ring. Hopefully, she turns out to be his greatest catch this season!

SMH: Shaunie O'Neal Claims That Shaq Tried Using Their 6-Year Old Son For Death Threats

Shaquille O'Neal's estranged wife claims the basketball star recently ordered their son to deliver death threats to her new boyfriend ... this according to documents obtained by RaRa's Blog TEA.

Shaunie O'Neal's lawyers just fired off a letter to Shaq's people, claiming the bball star "interrogated" the couple's children to tell him everything they knew about her new man ... "to the point that they felt intimidated and scared of him."

Shaunie also claims Shaq told their 6-year-old son to tell her boyfriend that Shaq "is going to kill him" -- and that Shaq even screamed at the kid and said, "Say it now! My daddy is going to kill you!"

Shaunie's lawyers are demanding Shaq halt "further inappropriate discussions" with their children -- which is an alleged violation of the non-disparagement provision of their divorce judgment.

The latter of three, "My Chick Bad" is this week's top airplay gainer, moving three spots (7-4) to reach no.4.

In related news, Usher has another top 10 hit on his hands with "Lil Freak". Also featuring Nicki Minaj, the single moved 11-9 this week.

I was informed that 106 and Park, a source for African Americans to promote their music, have banned Teairra Mari’s song Sponsor and other projects from surfacing on their channel. No one else will report because they don’t want to put it on blast. I feel bad for the underdogs because they are not given a fair chance and its even worse when your own kind won’t promote you. What’s bad about Sponsor that overshadows any work that Lil Wayne, Ludacris, and many others have showcased on BET? Why is it, do you think, that booty shaking and such is allowed but a video by a woman encouraging others to make it is bad. Why is it that Lil Wayne can perform “Every Girl In the World” with his daughter on stage, but women artists have to be “appropriate”. Lawyer For Shaquille O'Neal Demands VH1 Not Air Any Episodes Of 'Basketball Wives' Containing Any Reference To Shaq

Looks like basketball superstar Shaquille O'Neal is not too happy with ex-wife Shaunie O'Neal's new show Basketball Wives.

The show, which airs on VH1, is what the name implies -- a reality show that follows the exploits of a group of NBA basketball star current and ex- wives and girlfriends, including Shaunie. Other women on the show include Jennifer Williams (wife of former player Eric Williams) and Gloria Govan (fiancee of Orlando Magic's Matt Barnes).

In a letter to VH1 obtained by website TMZ.com, Shaq's lawyer Michael Kump quotes a report in the New York Post that says Shaunie put together the show as possible "televised revenge." It also quotes an example of one incident on the show in particular:

"Shaunie organizes a lunch gathering, to which she invites Gloria, one of the other wives. Gloria and Shaunie are okay, except that Shaunie suspects Gloria's sister was sleeping with Shaq, and isn't 100% sure Gloria didn't know about it."

Kump says this violates a confidentiality provision in an "existing agreement" (presumably a divorce document or prenuptial) between Shaunie and Shaq. The agreement states that Shaunie is prohibited "from disclosing or disseminating information to anyone (other than family members of close personal friends) concerning her relationship with Mr. O'Neal."

It also states she cannot give any sort of interview, or write or assist with any article or book concerning Shaq without his consent.

Because of this, Kump is demanding VH1 immediately halt production of Basketball Wives episodes where Shaunie appears, and to not air any episodes that have already been made if they contain any reference to Shaq.

VH1 has until the end of business on April 14 to respond. A new episode of Basketball Wives is scheduled to run on April 18, when audiences will obviously find out VH1's response to the legal threat.
